Privacy Policy for Skibet

Applies to the boat game Skibet at sdmoeller.ai/skibet and the "Skibet" app on the App Store and Google Play. Last updated 28 July 2026.

In short

1. Who is responsible?

Skibet is developed and operated by SD Moeller (Steven Moeller), Copenhagen, Denmark. Questions about privacy and data: sdmoeller@hotmail.com — or use the contact page.

2. Playing as a guest — no collection

The game works 100% without an account. As a guest, the game sends no personal data to us. Your settings, local best results and choices are stored only locally on your own device (localStorage) and never leave it. If you clear your browser data or delete the app, they are gone.

The game contains no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking across apps or websites.

3. With an optional account

An account is only needed if you want to appear on the leaderboard or challenge friends. With an account we store:

If you sign in with Google or Microsoft (only possible in the web version), we receive only your email address from the provider — nothing else.

4. Push reminders (optional)

If you enable the daily reminder (web version), we store your browser's push endpoint, the associated technical keys and your language choice — nothing else. You can turn the reminder off in the game at any time, which deletes the subscription.

5. Feedback

If you send an idea or suggestion via the game's feedback feature, we store the message. If you are signed in, it is linked to your account — if you delete the account, the message is unlinked and becomes anonymous.

6. Where is the data — and who has access?

7. Deletion — directly in the game

Open the game → AccountDelete account. Deletion is permanent and immediate: profile, captain name, email, results, leaderboard position and challenges are removed.

You can also request deletion, access or correction at any time by writing to sdmoeller@hotmail.com. Under the GDPR you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

8. Children

The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data about guest players. An account requires an email address and is intended for players who can enter into the agreement themselves — children should play as guests or create an account together with an adult.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the game.
