Skibet — berth the boat before you do it for real
Skibet is a realistic motorboat simulator that runs directly in your browser — free and with no installation. Practise berthing, reversing into the box, thruster manoeuvres and compensating for wind and current until it becomes second nature. With no risk to the boat, the neighbours or your confidence.

A boat game that takes seamanship seriously
Skibet prioritises believable boat behaviour over arcade feel. You choose a scenario, a boat from 20 to 40 feet and your equipment — then practise the manoeuvre in realistic 3D with helper graphics showing the turning circle, pivot point and force arrows for thrusters, wind and current.
Believable boat behaviour
The boat has mass and momentum, the stern swings out in the turn, gear changes take time, and the rudder is weak in reverse — just like in real life. Simulator, not arcade.
Wind and current
Onshore wind, offshore wind, gusts and cross-currents. Learn to use the weather as a tool — or to compensate for it when it works against you.
Thrusters and twin engines
Bow thruster, stern thruster or both — with heat build-up and limits. Or manoeuvre a twin-engine boat with differential throttle and rotate on the spot.
Over 20 training scenarios
From your first berthing in calm weather to reversing into a very tight box in a crowded harbour with a crosswind. Plus free sailing, where you choose the boat, equipment and weather yourself.
Feedback like an instructor
After every exercise: approach speed, angle, thruster discipline and collisions — specific feedback in English on how you manoeuvred, not just whether you made the berth.
Leaderboard and challenges
Play as a guest without an account — or log in, save your best results online, get on the leaderboard and challenge your friends.
Who is Skibet for?
Everyone can join in — the difficulty levels range from your first calm berthing to tight boxes in crowded harbours with gusty winds.
New boat owners
Practise the 10 manoeuvres that scare people most — berthing, departure and reversing into the box — with no risk to the gelcoat, the neighbours or your confidence.
Powerboat licence students
Speed control, manoeuvring and situational awareness at your own pace, so you arrive well prepared for the test.
Sailing schools and boat clubs
Use the simulator as a teaching tool with scenarios for wind, current, space and equipment.
Experienced sailors with a new boat
Retrain from a single engine to twin engines — or to a boat with thrusters — before your first trip in the harbour.
Easy controls — on both computer and mobile
On computer
Steer with the keyboard — and rotate and zoom the camera with the mouse.
On phone and tablet
Virtual controls appear automatically in landscape mode: throttle on the left, rudder and thruster buttons on the right — and pinch-zoom on the camera. No app, no installation.
